<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a pattern without scumming which is good in pattern reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: With a pattern forming plate 3 having an opening part 2 laminated in the shape of a formed pattern on the surface of a base material 1, ink 4 is pushed into the opening part of the pattern forming plate by a doctor blade 5, etc., and cured with the ink pushed into the opening part by being irradiated with ionizing radiation such as electron beams from the base material side. After that, the pattern forming plate is separated from the base material, and a pattern by the cured ink is formed on the surface of the base material.
