<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety water heater eliminating any possibility of a user getting burned by abruptly flowing out high-temperature hot water even when a display part of a remote controller is turned off. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater is provided with the remote controller 14 having a temperature operation part 17 setting a feed hot water set temperature, the display part 18 displaying the feed hot water set temperature, and an alarm part 19 issuing an alarm, and a hot water feed detector 12 detecting the start of the hot water feed from the flow of the hot water in a hot water feed pipe 9, and feeds hot water of the set temperature. This water heater is also provided with a hot temperature determination part 16 determining whether or not the feed hot water set temperature is high, and when the hot water detector 12 detects the start of the hot water feed when the display part 18 is tuned off and when the hot temperature determination part 16 determines that the feed hot water set temperature is high, this water heater turns on the display part 18 of the remote controller 14 and makes it display the feed hot water set temperature, allows the alarm part 19 of the remote controller 14 to issue the alarm and notify that the feed hot water set temperature is high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
