PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein cleaning work of intake beams in the front and rear parts forming an indoor air intake port is facilitated. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a base 1 fixed to the wall face, a front face panel 2 attached to the front face of the base 1, and a main body cabinet including an upper face panel 3, and a cross flow fan 4, a heat exchanger 5, and a drain receiver 6 are arranged in the base 1. An air outlet 7 is arranged in the front face panel 2, and air intake grill 8 is arranged in the upper face panel 3 rotationally and removably. A filter 9 is arranged on the back face of the air intake grill 8 so that it can be inserted removably. An electric air cleaner 10 is arranged between the air intake grill 8 and the heat exchanger 5. The air intake grill 8 is constructed of a front intake grill 8a and a rear intake grill 8b. The electric air cleaner 10 is fixed to a front intake beam 8c, while the filter 9 is attached to the electric air cleaner 10 and a rear intake beam 8d. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
