PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plan useful utilization of an attic space and use members utilizing for ridge beams or corner beams in common ridge when constituting a hipped roof and rationally constitute even a hipped roof having an L-shaped plane. SOLUTION: This hipped roof structure is a structure of a hipped roof C forming the intersection of three roof faces to form a top point, and has a cantilever ridge beam 1 in which the front end 1a is arranged at a position corresponding to the intersection of three roof faces, two corner beams 2, 3 arranged at a corner where the roof faces cross each other, and the upper end of respective corner beams is pin-connected to the front end 1a of the cantilever ridge beam 1. The cantilever ridge beam 1 is supported by principal rafters 4, 5 arranged at a plurality of positions of a large roof A, thereby, it is constituted as a cantilever beam whose front end 1a is protruded.
