PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger improving the pressure withstanding property of a header pipe and shortening an installation space to a radiator or the like while enlarging the volume of a liquid reservoir part in the header pipe. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger is provided with: a pair of header pipes provided parallel with each other; tubes with the end parts inserted in the header pipes to communicate a pair of header pipes with each other; fins disposed between the respective tubes; a drying agent unit enclosed in one header pipe; and a liquid sump part formed in one header pipe. One header pipe in which the drying agent unit is inserted, is offset on one side in the thickness direction of the heat exchanger, and a wall of a tube insertion part of one header pipe is formed in micro round shape swollen in the radial direction of the header pipe noncontinuously with the wall of a tube non-insertion part.
