PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storing case showing a superior operability, having a simple structure and not applying any enforced power to a disk. SOLUTION: This recording medium disk storing case has one resilient arm 23 protruded from an inner bottom surface of a base half member 4, a disk receiving step 29 extended to enclose a half circumference of the arm, and an annular wall 11. The resilient arm 23 has a fitting part 24 slightly smaller than a diameter of a central hole 31a of a disk 31, a supporting part 25 having a flex hinge 25c canti-levered at the base half member 4 and an engaging claw 24b. The disk receiving step 29 is lacked at a position corresponding to an engaging claw 24b. The disk 31 is held by a method wherein a fitting part 24 of the resilient arm 23 is fitted to the central hole 31a under a state in which a central part 31b rides on the disk receiving step 29 and the engaging claw 24b is engaged with an edge of the central hole 31a. As the fitting part 24 is pushed down from this state, the engaging claw 24b springs an edge part of the central hole 31a to cause the disk 31 to be flexed and then the disk 31 springs up with this flex reaction force.
