PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior trim material for a vehicle capable of inserting and holding an end part or an ornament surface material into a fitting groove so that the end part of the ornament surface material is not peeled off even when an adhesive is not used. SOLUTION: In this interior trim material for the vehicle, the end part 1a of the ornament surface material 1 for partially covering a surface of a trim board 2 is inserted and held in the fitting groove 3 provided on the trim board 2. A protrusion 4 is provided in predetermined intervals on an edge of the ornament surface material 1 to be inserted into the fitting groove 3. An insertion hole 5 in correspondence with the protrusion 4 is provided on a bottom of the fitting groove 3 of the trim board 2. The protrusions 4 are protruded to the rear side of the trim board 2 through the respective insertion holes 5. The protruded part is folded back to the rear side of the fitting groove 3, and the folded back base part is fastened and fixed by a cover 6 for closing the respective insertion holes 5 on the rear side of the fitting groove 3.
