PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a leaf suspension device allowing an axle to be suspended on a frame with one right leaf spring and one left leaf spring without damaging safety. SOLUTION: In a leaf suspension device, the axle 3 is suspended on the frame 1 with one right leaf spring 15 and one left leaf spring 15. The strength of a fixing part (eye 16) to the frame 1 side of the front end of the leaf springs 15 is set relatively higher than that of the other parts. A helper rubber 14 is disposed on the frame 1 side so as to be disposed after a carrying position of the axle 3 in the leaf springs 15, and the back part of the leaf springs 15, namely a back part than the disposal position as a boundary, is set to have a strength relatively higher than that of the front part, thereby securing an enough lateral rigidity to regulate the lateral movement of the axle 3 only with one of right and left leaf springs 15.
