PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a fundamental problem that a conventional perfecting printing method lacks the sureness and reliability of paper conveyance and can not cope with high speed printing and to eliminate the fouling of a press roller in the printing of the initial and final sheets. SOLUTION: A printing pressure range variable means which can selectively change over one of at least three printing pressure range patterns of a printing pressure range pattern I applying printing pressure only on a surface area 12A corresponding to a surface-engraved image in a divided, engraved master on a printing drum 12, a printing pressure range pattern II applying the printing pressure only on a back area 12B corresponding to a back-engraved image in the master, and a printing pressure range pattern III applying the printing pressure continuously on the surface area 12A and the back area 12B is provided.
