PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent losing of a transparency upon applying printing and permit the development of full color sufficiently by a method wherein coating solution containing pseudo-boehmite sol and binder is applied on a substrate to form a porous ink receptor layer. SOLUTION: A porous ink receptor layer is formed on a recording sheet by a method wherein coating solution is applied on a substrate. In this case, the coating solution contains the binder employing an organic substrate, such as colloidal solution or pseudo-boehmite sol obtained by dispersing the colloidal particles of the pseudo-boehmite, whose total volume of fine holes having the radius of 40-100 Å is specified so as to be 0.1-0.4 cc/g, into solvent, starch denatured substance of starch, polyvinyl alcohol, denatured substance of polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxy cellulose, polyvinyl pyrrolidone or the like. The substrate is obtained employing the organic film of polyethylene terephthalate, polyester diacetate or the like. According to this method, transparency will not be lost when printing is applied and full color can be developed. |
