<p>The invention relates to a clamping head comprising a mechanical stage (12) which is connected to a power stage (14). The aforementioned mechanical stage comprises a body (16), a centring pilot (56) which can project out from the body and at least one clamping jaw (58) which can retract into the pilot. Said pilot can be moved between a retracted position, whereby it is withdrawn completely into the body (16), and a centring position, whereby it penetrates the centring hole of the part to be clamped. The above-mentioned clamping jaw (58) can move between a retracted position, whereby it is contained in the pilot (56), and a clamping position, whereby it clamps the part on a reference surface (27). The invention can be used to support and align the parts to be assembled.</p> |
