The ratio of the distance (L1) between the fuel lance (1) and the primary air channel exit to the distance (L2) between the primary air channel exit and the tip of an imaginary cone on the central length axis of the primary air channel is 1:4-1:8. Combustion air is supplied to the mixer device via slanting guide blades (3) in a primary air channel between a tapered exit cone (4) of a burner tube (2) and an inner guide body surrounding the fuel lance, the cone being tapered towards the exit. The guide body is an inner cone and projects beyond the guide blades in the axial direction to form a secondary air channel.
