PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance against heat and cold and reduce the unevenness of service life by using rubber which contains a specific ratio of ethylene/α-olefin/diene terpolymer among all polymer components and in which sulfur is blended as curing agent in a main rubber constituting a belt. SOLUTION: A V-ribbed belt is constituted in such a way that a sail cloth 11 is bonded on a rib rubber having a core wire 13. The rubber which contains ethylene/α-olefin/diene terpolymer of 50 weight % or more among all polymer components and in which sulfur is blended as curing agent is used as main rubber constituting the belt in such belt. Moreover, ethylene/α-olefin/diene terpolymer is not specified in particular, and three-dimensional copolymer composed of ethylene and variousα-olefin and diene can be used. Propylene can be used asα-olefin, and 1,4-hexadiene can be used as diene.
