PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of high quality fast by setting the angle and position, at which the slit member of a detecting means for scanning start timing is arranged, most suitably. SOLUTION: When synchronous detection lights corresponding to multiple light sources 11a and 11b have difference in the quantity of light, the synchronous detecting signal corresponding to the light source 11a and the synchronous detection signal corresponding to the light source 11a has a deviation ofδt2 in output timing, and consequently the writing-out positions of the both shift by a quantity corresponding toδt2. To correct this deviation quantityδt2, a slit 18a is arranged obliquely at a specific angle to a surface orthogonal to a plane scanned with the synchronous detection lights.
