PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conversion efficiency of waste heat and the efficiency of an entire absorption water cooler/warmer. SOLUTION: The absorption water cooler/warmer is provided with a dilute solution line L1 for connecting absorbers 10L and 10H to a high-temperature regenerator 11, a middle concentration solution line L3 for connecting the high- temperature regenerator 11 to a low-temperature regenerator 12, and a high- concentration solution line L4 for connecting the low-temperature regenerator 12 to the absorbers 10L and 10H. A heat exchanger 20 for throwing waste heat is included at the region between a high-temperature solution heat exchanger 14 and a low-temperature solution heat exchanger 15 at the dilute solution line L1, and the heat exchanger 20 for throwing waste heat performs heat exchange between waste heat being supplied from an external waste heat source and a dilute solution flowing through the dilute solution line L1. Also, evaporators 9L and 9H and the absorbers 10L and 10H are divided into a plurality of stages.
