PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially process the several sheet numbers of print data even when large amounts of print data are transmitted from certain terminal in a system in which one printer is shared by plural terminal through a network. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving a request for print through an LAN 2, a printer controller 3 stores print data in a data memory 12, and stores the identification information and data amounts of terminal in a priority table in a priority controlling part 14. Then, the priority controlling part 14 compares a reference value set by a priority setting part 15 with the data amounts, and delays the order of processing of the request for print of data amounts which are beyond the reference value.
