PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder for a vehicle with a simple structure capable of being manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A movable member 3 is retractably housed in a casing 2 having an opened front surface in a forward/rearward direction. The movable member 3 is movable between a used position shown in Fig. 1 and an housed position where a whole of the movable member except for a front part of a cap part 33 is housed in the casing 2. A pivot shaft 4 directing an axis to a vertical direction is provided at a base end part of the movable member 3 projected from the casing 2 to the outside at the used position.
