PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which occurrence of density unevenness for each display region is eliminated. SOLUTION: In the simple matrix liquid crystal display device, a driver IC is formed on a substrates such as the same glass or plastic as that for forming a display screen portion, and input-output wiring for the driver IC is formed by ITO or multilayered ITO and aluminum. As to right-and-left input terminals introduce, into the driver IC, liquid crystal voltage being a power source of output voltage to be applied to a display screen portion (display area X) corresponding to the 1st to the n/2th positions and to a display screen portion (display area Y) corresponding to the (n/2+1)th to n-th positions of the output terminal of the driver IC, an internally divided independent terminal is electrically connected through ITO or a multilayered wiring of ITO and aluminum, and a terminal which is electrically connected in the inside and has high wiring resistance is electrically connected through multilayered wiring of ITO and aluminum, respectively on the portion of a substrate for mounting the driver IC.
