PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic filling and packaging device which can easily clean solution leakage from a cylindrical film under a filling operation. SOLUTION: This automatic filling and packaging device comprises a film feed unit I to draw a strip film F<SB>1</SB>from an untreated material and feed it out, a cylindrical film forming unit II which overlaps the strip film F<SB>1</SB>in two folds in the width direction, and longitudinally seals side edges to each other, and a transverse seal forming unit to transversely seal a cylindrical film F<SB>3</SB>filled with the content from a nozzle 15 at a predetermined space. The cylindrical film forming unit II has a sterilizing unit 10 to sterilize a surface of the strip film before the two-fold position of the strip film F<SB>1</SB>. The range from the position of the sterilizing unit to the position of the longitudinal seal is surrounded by a closed casing so as to pass the film. The transverse seal forming unit III is accommodated in a closed box 30 which is separate from other parts, and a through hole through which the cylindrical film is passed is formed in the box.
