The metal sheet assembly (3) is held to the casing by connectors (7) at each cross sectional region of large radius of curvature (5.1, 5.3). In cross sectional regions of small radii of curvature (5.2, 5.4), the sheet is connected directly to the casing. There is a connector in all regions of greatest radius of curvature, e.g. the flanks. Connections to the sheets and casing are bonded and offset. They are hard soldered, brazed or welded. The connectors (7) include expansion slots away from the bonding regions. Passivation is employed at the bonds. Sheet ends face the casing, and are bonded using the connectors. The casing is oval or polygonal. Corresponding casing and sheet lengths differ. The connector has an axial expansion differing from that of the lengths of the casing or sheets. Connector thickness is 0.1-1mm, especially 0.3-0.7.
