The invention relates to measurement engineering and can be used for visualising profiles of three-dimensional objects. The inventive device performs a "structured lighting" principle and comprises a light emission source and the following components which are sequentially arranged along the emission direction: a transparency and an additional objective lens with aid of which the structured lighting of an object is formed by a line structure, a main objective lens, a photorecorder, a digital electronic unit, a second digital electronic comparing unit whose memory stores the digital image of the line structure which is periodical along one co-ordinate of the line structure. The transparency is embodied in the form of a slide provided with a line structure which is periodical along two co-ordinates, i.e. in the form of a pattern. In the comparing unit, the pattern stored in the memory thereof is subtracted from the recorded pattern, whereby a pattern is formed whose through holes are coded with negative illuminance values and interpreted in a unique manner. Said invention makes it possible to eliminate an increased inspection error and increase the accuracy and reliability of the device.
