An electric hot plate (10) capable of minimizing the occurrence of smoke, capable of being reduced in size, and allowing even general families to be easily used for cooling, comprising support plates (12, 14), wherein mirror surface parts (16, 18) are disposed between the support plates (12, 14) opposedly to each other, electric heat elements (36, 38) are disposed inside the mirror surface parts (16, 18) at positions out of just beneath a heated body (52), and the mirror surface parts (16, 18) having one focuses near the electric heat elements radiate heat ray radiated from the electric heat elements (36, 38) to the underside of the heated body (52) for heating the heated body (52).
