<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus in which deviation in the irradiation position of a light beam is reduced by reducing the deflection of a mounting plate in the image forming apparatus provided with several optical scanners. <P>SOLUTION: Respective optical scanners 14A and 14B are arranged and are attached to a mounting plate 15 so that the center-of-gravity position CM of the optical scanners 14A and 14B is positioned in the vicinity of the side plate 13S of a main body frame 13. Since the deflection of the mounting plate 15 is reduced, the change of relative positional relation between the optical scanners 14A and 14B and a photoreceptor 38 is reduced, so that the deviation in the irradiation position of a laser beam LB on the photoreceptor 38 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
