ARTICLE INSPECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect an article at a predetermined position by moving an image of the article to an inspection window at the predetermined position according to a distance that the article moves, thereby reducing a work load of an operator who monitors the article through a monitor, for example.

SOLUTION: The article (empty bottle) conveyed by a conveyance means is photographed by a camera a plurality of times. An inspection window setting means sets a position of the inspection window W by superimposing it on an article image contained in the image photographed by the camera. A detection means detects a position of which each article is conveyed to be photographed by the camera the plurality of times. An image shifting means moves the article image contained in each image based on data input by the detecting means so as to bring each article to the predetermined position where the inspection window W locates.
