<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain output results with different sheet sizes while binding margins align with one another by simple operations of specifying a sheet size to be a reference and specifying its binding position. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver 201-A indicates, based on currently available sheet size information from a printer, a sheet format example on which the binding margins can align even if a sheet size differs according to a reference sheet size selected and specified by a user. The user specifies the binding position for the indication. A mode to define an image output which can be specified in the sheet size to be the reference sheet is converted and added as a header to print information to be transferred to the printer, and the print information is transferred to the printer in this state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
