PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the diagnosis separately. SOLUTION: A vibration control diagnostic instrument mounted on a rolling stock comprises an actuator 1 installed between a truck 3 and a rolling stock body 2 and a servo valve 5 to control the drive of the actuator 1, vibration acceleration sensors 7a and 7b disposed on the rolling stock body 2 so as to detect the vibration acceleration of the rolling stock body 2 excited by the actuator 1, a circuit 4 to feed air to the actuator 1, a solenoid valve 6 which is interposed on the circuit 4 to switch the feed and the shut-off of air to the actuator 1, and a controller 9 which outputs the signal to the solenoid valve 6 and the servo valve 5, receives the detection signal from the vibration acceleration sensors 7a and 7b, compares the signal with the reference value in a preliminarily received initial design condition to diagnose whether or not the condition is sound. It is separately and automatically determined in a short time whether or not various kinds of components of a rolling stock vibration control system in the rolling stock are operated soundly, the reliability is considerably improved, contributing much to the safe traveling.
