PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation inspecting method for a combustor to easily and efficiently carry out inspection of the combustor. SOLUTION: A combustion control part 30 of the combustor 27 and an inspection controller 28 are connected by a communicating means. A checking program is provided to an interruption command outputting part 31 of an interruption control part 60. The checking program is formed by assigning an operation command of one component of the combustor 27 to one command and arranging one or more commands in time sequence. When the commands are added to the combustion control part 30, the combustion control part 30 is changed by a mode change-over switch from a normal operation mode to an inspection mode of operating in accordance with an interruption operation command. The command is translated into an actually working operation command signal for the component of the combustor 27 by a translation table 45, operation control of the combustion control part 30 following the checking program is carried out and inspection of the combustor is automatically carried out.
