HIGH-DUCTILITY Mg ALLOY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-ductility Mg alloy which shows adequate ductility when deformed even at a low temperature region around 200°C. SOLUTION: The high-ductility Mg alloy shows an elongation of 200% or more when deformed at 200°C with a strain rate of 3.3×10-4s-1. Alternatively, the Mg alloy shows an elongation of 100% or more when deformed at 200°C with a strain rate of 3.3×10-1s-1. Further alternatively, the Mg alloy has an elongation of 100% or more when deformed at 100°C with a strain rate of 3.3×10-4s-1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
