PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drawing a blast tuyere, which reliably avoids a danger of a phreatic explosion in an operation for drawing a blast tuyere, and avoids inconvenience such as interruption of other operations in the drawing operation. SOLUTION: The method for drawing the blast tuyere of the blast furnace comprises, when drawing the blast tuyere mounted in a tuyere frame part of the blast furnace, raising a temperature of the tuyere, by stopping a water supply to the tuyere, removing a cooling water in the tuyere, and leaving it for a while; subsequently quenching the tuyere by passing a cryogenic air in a cooling passage in the tuyere of which the temperature has been raised; and then drawing the tuyere.
