PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage recovery machine capable of easily carrying out sorting of the garbage; a sorting/collection method using this; a stock management method effectively utilizing data of the garbage read upon sorting of the garbage; and a recycle method. SOLUTION: A home system 210, a service center 100, a recycle center 310 and a tag management center are connected through a network 20 and the home system 210 is constituted by a garbage box 50, a home server 211 and a household electric instrument 212 such as a refrigerator. The garbage box 50 reads a commodity distinguishing information 401 put on a distinguishing tag 11 put on a commodity 10 and obtains the corresponding commodity information 402 by checking to a tag management center 320. Further, the garbage box 50 compares it with a sorting classification 403 obtained from the service center 403 to judge the sorting classification of the commodity 10 and instructs one of a plurality of garbage recovery parts 51 by an indication part 58.
