COUPLING SYSTEM USEFUL IN PLACEMENT OF IMPLANTS

A coupling device (1) is disposed at the distal end of an interventional delivery system (2) for coupling to an implant (3). The coupling device has a first (15) and second (15') prong connected at one end. The other end of the prongs open or close to release or trap an object, e.g., a bead (22) tethere d from an implant. A slot (33) at the distal end of the coupling device allows extra degrees of flexibility for the coupling device.
