PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a battery by providing speed control which enables a motor to be driven only with generated power without the need to take out battery power, even if a desired driving force becomes great.
SOLUTION: When Po* is determined to be greater than Poγ in S6, the maximum loaded drive torque Toδ and the maximum loaded driving force Poδ, both of which should be obtained at full throttle at No, are calculated in S9. When Po* is determined to be equal to or less than Poδ in S10, Po* can be achieved in the engine under maximum load control at the electrically lowest gear ratio, so the maximum loaded engine speed Neδ and the maximum loaded engine torque Teδ, both of which are required to achieve Pe* under the maximum loaded condition, are set respectively as engine operating points Ne and Te in S11 and S12. In S15, a balance equation on an alignment chart is solved based on Ne and Te, whereby the amount of motor electricity is entirely covered by the generated power to determine motor/generator operating points N1 and T1, and N2 and T2 for direct power distribution which does not require the battery power to be taken out.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
