<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily handled speed reduction control device for vehicles, which can grasp the set speed reduction rate sensually with ease. <P>SOLUTION: Since changing of the set speed reduction rate is permitted by operating a travel position selection operation device (speed reduction setting operation device) 86 providing that the vehicle is travelling while reducing its speed by means of a setting change permission means 126 (SA5), as a result, the actual speed reduction rate of the vehicle changes responding to the operation to change the speed reduction rate, the driver can grasp the change in the speed reduction rate to the control input for speed reduction sensually with ease, resulting in the provision of the easily handled speed reduction control device for vehicles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
