<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging structure for an ink tank wherein the ink is prevented from splashing from an ink-feeding port at the time of opening, and in addition, which can be easily opened by any body, and of which the reliability is high. <P>SOLUTION: This ink tank 100 is equipped with an ink container 101 containing the ink, the ink-feeding port 102 for feeding the ink, an atmosphere- communicating port 104, and a covering member 103 which covers the ink- feeding port 102 and the whole of the ink container 101. The covering member 103 is constituted of a first region 103a and a second region 103b, and in addition, the first region 103a has a cap 121 for sealing the ink-feeding port 102. At the border between the first region 103a and the second region 103b, a perforation 115 is applied, and the ink-feeding port 102 is constituted in such a manner that when a user pulls up the second region 103b by gripping a knob part 112, the covering member 103 may be broken, and the ink-feeding port 102 may be opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
