<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress key deformation by increasing rigidity or to apply woody appearance to a key at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A key structure 1 comprises a key base body 10 made of a synthetic resin and woody parts 20L and 20R composed of wood having rigidity equal to or greater than that of resin. In the key base body 10, an upper plate part 10a, a lower plate part 10c, a connecting part 10b that connects the upper and lower plate parts 10a and 10c and a front plate part 10d are formed into a single body. The woody parts 20L and 20R are fitted into recessed parts 10bL and 10bR located at both sides of the connecting part 10b and fixedly adhered to the upper plate part 10a, the connecting part 10b and the lower plate part 10c. Each of the top parts 20La and 20Ra and each of the bottom parts 20Lb and 20Rb are in contact with the upper plate part 10a and the lower plate part 10c, respectively.
