摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining a toner having a sharp distribution of grain sizes and to provide a device for manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: The device comprising an oil phase supply means to supply an oil phase comprising polymerizable monomers and other additives necessary to constitute the toner, a water phase supply means to supply a water phase comprising an optional surfactant and a dispersion stabilizer, an aqueous suspension liquid forming unit having a porous membrane, and a polymerization part, is characterized in that the oil phase supplied at the rate of 50 to 1,000 ml/min per 1 m<SP>2</SP>area of the porous membrane from the oil phase supply means is passed through the porous membrane constituting the aqueous suspension liquid forming unit and having pores smaller than the particle size of the desired toner, and then the oil phase is dispersed in the water phase supplied at the rate of 100 to 5,000 ml/min per 1 m<SP>2</SP>area of the porous membrane from the water phase supply means to obtain an aqueous suspension liquid, and the aqueous suspension liquid is passed through the polymerization reaction part.
