PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device hardly causing gas leakage wherein a connecting port of a burner case is positively connected to a gas intake of a burner member, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the combustion device. SOLUTION: A holding energizing member 78 is provided on a partition plate 32 of the burner case 10 of the combustion device, and the burner member 11 is engaged with a groove part 80 and held in a substantially attached state. A detachable part 76 is provided with attaching and detaching one part of side faces of the burner case 10. The combustion device is manufactured by removing the detachable part 76, putting the burner member 11 in the burner case 10 from a detachable part side, engaging the burner member 11 with the holding energizing member 78 and holding it in the substantially attached state, and fixing the detachable part 76.
