PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a luggage compartment expanded by arranging the third seat row and a space in front of the seats in the second seat row expanded largely by sliding the seats in the second row largely, in a seat device having the second seat row, which can slide forward and backward, and the third seat row, which can arrange the arrangement area of seat cushions as a luggage compartment. In the back face of each seat 2 in the second row, a recessed section 23, which fits to each of the seat cushions 3C in the third row seats, which stands on its head, and when the second row seat 2 is slidden rearward, with each of the seat cushions 3C in the third row seats standing on its head, the recessed section 23 and the third row seat, which stands on its head, fit each other. The second row seat 2 can slide backward taking a long way around the differences in level formed on the floor of a vehicle and the wheel houses H overhanging in the car interior.
