PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and effectively control tone and/or volume in a playing device such as a musical box. SOLUTION: A vibration transmitting part interposed between a sounding body and a diaphragm for transmitting vibration of the sounding body to the diaphragm, has a plurality of transmitting members with different characteristics, and any one of them is interposed between the sounding body and the diaphragm to transmit the vibration. Since the vibration transmitting characteristics are varied depending on the individual transmitting members, the tone and the volume of the sound of the musical box is sounded in accordance with the transmitting members interposed between the sounding body and the diaphragm.
