PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution wherein a cellulose acylate is dissolved in a non-chlorine containing organic solvent, capable of high speed flow casting, and to provide the cellulose acylate film having good surface properties. SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate solution is obtained by dissolving the cellulose acylate in the non-chlorine containing organic mixed solvent which is composed of a first solvent being methyl acetate and a second solvent selected from an acetone or an acetoacetic ester, dissolving at normal temperature, at a low temperature or at a high temperature, thereafter adding a third solvent selected from an 1-10C alcohol. The concentration of the cellulose acylate in the solvent after adding the solvent is 15-30 wt.%. By the addition of the third solvent, the maximum peak (nm) which gives the maximum particle size shifts to a larger direction. The cellulose acylate film is obtained by flow casting the cellulose acylate solution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
