PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery cosmetic without having a grating feeling, excellent in freshness and refreshing feeling, without showing dross or kink even on applying it on the skin directly with fingers or hands, especially without spoiling a material feeling (pearly feeling, lame feeling), color feeling, shade, etc., on blending a pearly agent, lame agent, etc., and exhibiting such feelings with a high transparency, and having an extremely good makeup-finishing effect. SOLUTION: This powdery cosmetic contains (a) 0.1-20 mass % silicic acid anhydride made as hydrophobic and having≥60 m<SP>2</SP>/g surface area, (b) 20-60 mass % powdery component and (c) 40-80 mass % aqueous component, and exhibits a powdery form.
