PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling stock oscillation suppressing method for reducing any effect of vortexes generated in the vicinity of a rolling stock body to cause oscillation of the rolling stock, and the rolling stock. SOLUTION: A large roundness is formed on a boundary part 8 of an air layer 4 between a bottom surface 2 of the rolling stock 1 and a track surface 3 and an air layer 7 between a side surface 5 of the rolling stock 1 and a tunnel side surface 6, and generation of vortexes on the boundary part 8 is prevented by suppressing any mixture of the air flows with differential speed on the boundary part 8.
