PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray dark sight device capable of surely turning off a near infrared lamp as necessary. SOLUTION: A lamp lighting part 3 of a night vision device is provided with switch circuits 32 and 33 connected in series with each other to conduct/ interrupt a signal line 31 for transmitting an IG signal in accordance with a lighting signal from a control ECU of the night vision device, and relays 35 and 36 driven by the IG signal transmitted via the switch circuits 32 and 33 and conducting/interrupting a power supply line 34 for supplying power to the near infrared lamps 21 and 22 from a battery of a vehicle. As a result, even if an internal transistor in either one of the switch circuits 32 and 33 is damaged to short-circuit between emitter-collector or to weld a contact of either one of the relays 34 and 35, the near infrared lamps 21 and 22 can be surely turned off as necessary.
