POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR GEAR AND GEAR MADE OF POLYAMIDE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition which has a greatly improved abrasion resistance and can give a gear excellent in abrasion resistance by compounding a polyamide resin with aluminum borate whiskers and/or zinc oxide whiskers. SOLUTION: This polyamide resin composition is used for a gear 10 which has a resin layer 12 forming gear teeth comprising the polyamide resin composition and is used under lubrication with a lubricant (e.g. an oil or grease). The composition is prepared by compounding 100 pts.mass polyamide resin with 5-30 pts.mass either aluminum borate whiskers or zinc oxide whiskers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
