Ink jet printing method and ink jet printing apparatus

An ink jet printing apparatus prevents deterioration of a printed image resulting from decreasing of a refilling characteristic caused by rise of a printing head temperature as well as decreasing of a printing speed. More particularly, temperature of an ink ejecting head is measured so that settings of a pulse width and a drive voltage of a drive pulse to be applied to an electro-thermal converting element is altered based on the measured temperature of the ink ejecting head in a manner that the pulse width is shortened while raising the drive voltage as the temperature of the ink ejecting head rises.
