It is intended to provide a method and device, which are capable of producing glass fiber of good quality having characteristics, such as fiber length, fiber properties, and fiber distribution, that are required of various glass fiber products, wherein in order to prolong the life of a rotary body, a hole in the peripheral wall of the rotary body is increased in diameter to improve the yield per rotary body, and an increase in production cost is prevented.
