<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate which can obtain uniform lightness by increasing the quantities of light at corner parts of the light guide plate on the side where a columnar light source is installed. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 101 which supplies the light emitted by the columnar light source 102 to a display device arranged on the light guide plate by reflecting and scattering the emitted light by uneven dots 10 formed on the light guide plate 101 is characterized in that dots provided at corner parts of the light guide plate which are close to non-illumination regions at end parts of the columnar light source 102 are nearly rectangular in plane view and its long axis is arranged obliquely at nearly 10 to 45° to the columnar light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
