<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device wherein nonuniformity of the gap between substrates is prevented or suppressed and reduction of contrast and the like are hardly caused, to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal device and to provide an electronic instrument provided with the liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: Spacers 15 are disposed only in a display region 90A in which no TFT elements and the like are formed on a substrate 10 and which is provided with a comparatively flat surface in an interval between the substrate 10 and a substrate 20 having a liquid crystal layer 50 interposed therebetween, and the interval between the substrate 10 and 20 is held via the spacer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
