PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch for controlling signal light with lenses of a number smaller than that of waveguides. SOLUTION: The optical switch for switching the signal light outputted by a plurality of the input waveguides and outputting the signal light to a plurality of the output waveguides is furnished with at least one input lens input for being inputted with the signal light outputted by the input waveguides, at least one output lens for outputting the light to the output waveguides, and an optical path changing section for being inputted with the output light of the input lens and outputting the same to the output lens by switching the optical path.
