PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology regarding a system and a method for job scheduling which input the design of the schedule of jobs through an input device, automatically generate a JCL from the design contents, and efficiency execute scheduled jobs without confirming that the designed JCL is understood. SOLUTION: The job scheduling system in an embodiment 1 of this invention is composed roughly of a workstation 1 and a host computer 2 as shown in Fig.1; and the workstation 1 has a designing function 11 and the host computer 2 has a schedule function 4.
